Default knocking NEED HELP!

i got a light knock or tap in the motor that goes away when i pull the clutch, u can only hear it or feel it @ 3000rpm & less. i never did a clutch on this bike or any other bike so im still learning but i pulled off the front of the clutch and thers a bearing behind that plate, u think that could be it? i bought the bike for parts cuz i crashed mine & ther was a dent in the clutch cover and the noise it makes sounds like a bearing, n its weird that it goes away when i pull the clutch, kind of like a bad throw out bearing for a car. help me out!!!

My bike hasn't been down and I noticed the same noise. I pulled the clutch this winter and everything was in spec and the bearings looked good, so I put it all back together as is.

It's pretty easy to do (buy a manual and a torque wrench), so don't worry about it. Keep the plates in order, drain the oil first, and take your time.

my chain seems perfect. i have another 954 i totaled last year so i just took the bearing & the clutch front plate off, i know that motors good besides the crack in the block. so if this dont work i will look into the chain, n if that doesnt work im gona swap the whole clutch basket witch im dreading
