Key lock!!!
Can anyone tell me how to lock the steering? And yes, I am familiar with how to lock, I pull the bars all the way to the left, push the key down and try to go to the lock position and it won't go to it!
Oh yes, 2003 CBR954RR.
Thanks!

Sometimes after alot of use, the steeringstops (little bumps on the side of the frame neck) will get a little worn. If this is the case, the steering is going just a little too far for the lock cylinder in the ignition to correctly engage the hole in the frame neck. Try turning the handlebars just a little to the right and try the lock again. If this doesn't work, push the key down and put a little pressure on it toward the lock position and fiddle with the handlebars and see if the cylinder will fall into the hole. Alternately, you could always turn the handlebars to the right and lock them in that position.

I would bet that he is using an X265 aftermarket key. It is the one referenced for our bike but needs an extra cut to work with the lock mechansim on the steering.
