Default I'm an idiot

Ok, so it started with just starting my bike and letting it warm up, I warmed it up and decided it would be a good idea to run it down the road a bit. I was pulling out of my driveway on a cold tire and the whole rear end came out from under me and the bike fish tailed and nailed on the right left side, I'm just so ****ing pissed right now, the stator cover cracked - mirror broke, and teh foot peg snapped. How am I going to fix this? and know I have a nice crack in my rear fender, Guess my frame slider didn't do much. Can anyone link me to the things i'll need to get it fixed. thanks.

that's some bad luck. sounds to me like it's time to become a naked bike!

get pics of damage.

obviously, a start cover will be needed. so go ahead, drain out the oil, take the cover off. remember - it's magnetized, so you'll have to pull. you can GENTLY use a screwdriver to get it started. go too crazy and you'll screw up the case. watch out for your fingers getting pinched. after you get it off, take pictures of the actual stator and then the flywheel.

It didn't do any damage to the other fairings besides a crack in the rear fender.
Should only a stator cover be needed to fix it? It didn't fall at high speeds I was probably going 5-10 mph when it fish tailed.

i don't know. have you ever seen the stator? it's not exactly tough and beefy. that's why you should pull it off (drain oil first) and take a picture of it. the stator is held onto the cover via 4 allen key bolts (if i remember correctly). the flywheel can dent which could cause stator failure too. if the stator cracked, it could happen to any of these components - regardless of speed. you have to do the work anyways, you might as well see what you need.

and as far as a replacement, there are ones built in china that are under $40 on ebay. and ronayers.com is cheaper than the site you had posted from with respect to all honda OEM equipement Ronayers.com Microfiche Honda>Motorcycle>2003>CBR900RR>ALTERNATOR COVER

Thanks guys, I'm just waiting for the parts and me and a buddy are going to pull it all apart and look everything over, if it's all good then it's time for oil change and some engine ice, and a decal to cover the rash on the fender I really hope it's only the stator.
My buddy said the stator should be fine because the bike did start back up.

-Thanks
