Cool I Love Cheap Hoses!!

I meant to say Hoses, coolant hoses to be exact. I used to work at a parts store for years; people would come in looking for coolant hoses for special project vehicles, we couldnt look up the vehicle make, model, engine size, etc. because it was special project. The guys working on these vehicles were very handy; they measured everything using hangers and other measuring devices like vernier calipers. I looked for the best prices for all the hoses for my 954; even the cheapest place with shipping and handling was gonna cost me more than triple what I could hopefully find at a parts store. I removed all my hoses, took them to the parts store; they let me in the stockroom, I spent a half an hour, and found four hoses that were exactly the same as the stock hoses. I measure two larger hoses that I couldnt find, and put more than one together with 45 degree copper fittings black silicone and hose clamps. Some of the smaller, longer hoses I used fuel line(if it takes fuel, it can take coolant). I spent about $40 US for everthing to replace every coolant hose on my bike; Its called, "I have more time than Money." Ive driven it for over 500 miles, and yet can see a single drop of coolant; including letting it sit for a half an hour getting up to 215 dozens of times. I dont care if any of the hoses break because as long as im withing reach of autozone Im covered.

Lol, yes this is definitely the way to go, been driving euro cars for years now and when sometimes the factory replacement molded hoses run over $100, its way better to walk back to the hose section and match one up
