how much
hey people...i was wondering how much is a good prixe to pay a shop for new o-ring chain....and new sprockets and then placed on the bike? my bike needs it bad and my friend was going to do it if i bought the parts but said he did not have the tool for the chaim....so i am getting stiffed $320 for parts and the labor.....good or bad deal?

Doesn't take much in the way of tools other than a rear stand to change the chain and sprockets. The one thing you should probably do though is put theC clip style master link on the chain yourself and then have a shop do the peened master link for long term safety. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes and$10-$15 unless they force a minimum shoprate.

i believe its a rk kit...my friend normally does them for most of our bikes but then again he said he broke the compressor tool for the link..something like that on my friends r6....they said something about a ex-o chain....friend told me its a really good chain and will last a long time
