I was wandering how many miles you go between oil changes? I try to go 2000 miles. The reasonI ask is my bike was ticking and after I changed the oil it sounded alot better so I was thinking I will try every1500 miles. I run honda oiland honda filter.

 

That's pleny often man... I know what you mean by it change's sounds after a change but i don't worry too much about it. My bike's got almost 27k on it now, i change it every 3k. Honda oil and filter. If you don't mind spending twice the money changing your oil that often then it won't hurt anything but it's not needed...

 

tech..... more the better.... BUT.. 3k is fine depending on how u ride.. .if u are racing and doing alot of hard racing.. keep it at 2-3k.. if alot of highway and easy longer trips.. 3-5 is alright

 

I change every 3-4K but I only use Moble 1 Syn and I do not ride that hard.

 

I change it after every ride... totally worth it.

You know, I actually bring 4 qts ofHP4 and a filter with me when I go on rides over 200 miles and change my oil before I head back. I swear it makes the bike run super smooth! It's like it is not even running, more like purring! [:-]

 

If you run 8 quarts in your bike you only have to change it every 6k miles then, totally worth it.

i do mine about 2500 with fully syntheic.. i got the bike about 2 months, i have changed oils twice already..
