Default Handle bars are stiff

I recently rode my buddies 954 and have realized my handle bars are really stiff. Does anyone know the cause and how I may fix this?

Check the steering stem bearings.

Yep, too tight steering bearings. If they're new, just leave them until they seat a bit and loosen up. If they're still too tight, loosen them up

Do you have a steering damper installed?

I know this may sound like a dumb *** question but what is your tire pressure sitting at? I know when my front tire leaked from the seal when it would get low it was tight.

Yep, check your front tire pressure. You could be riding around with 10 lbs of air and not know it, except it'll be a bitch to turn the bars at slow speeds.

And the answer was low tire pressure. All season I was riding around with low tire pressure. That is crazy, Thanks for all the advice.
