Hopefully, when Kauai stops protesting the SuperFerry I'll get to take my bike out there and ride. I just went to Maui, and that was a great run, 40.6 miles of s-turns, and hairpins. Went from sealevel to about 11k feet elevation in 2 hours. Thank goodness for fuel injection or I would have been hurting for power halfway up. Even then lost power. Was riding a SV650S, so hoping to take the 954 sometime soon.

Kauai is definitely a nice place. Ever eaten at the Bullshed?

LOVE the bull shed! Steak & Lobster 24/7! WHen I was a kid We used to snorkel in the canal right next to it. Head out past the jetty and there is some good spear fishing to be had! Have you eaten at Hamuras Saimin stand? Its a must next time you are over.
