so my buddy has a gsxr 1000 and his FI light comes on cuz he has a header back exhaust or something? i didnt really know y?? but i just told him it was cuz suzuki's are crap...

and obviously today as im driving my FI light came on and the red light on my dash.. and my bike felt like ****... anyone know why this could be happening and how to fix it? thanks in advance

There are several possiblities. Search the form for this topic and how to count the FI flashing. Once youget the error code , # of flashes,report back here and I, or maybe TK954RR, willtranslate it for you.

 

it doesnt do it at idle when i start the bike. it does it while out riding, it will come on.. then go off... sometimes. they both dont come on at the same time either... **** is really pissing me off... i are the error codes the same for all honda bikes?? cuz i found a thread about a 600RR but couldnt find one about the FI light for the 54... someone pleeease help me out here...

 

no they are not the same. with the bike running and in neutral- count the flashes of the red light. Long flash represents code number 10 and short represents 1. Count the flashes. My guess is that you will come up with the number 34. Let us know

 

what if it doesnt do it while sitting in neutral???

last night i went to start the bike just to see if it would happen. when i turned the key, the lights came on quick, then everything just went dead... no lights, dash, ect??
