i guess i could mention that my 02 with this pipe a KnN and a power comander III got 132 whp!

 

What is the benefit of this pipe? Does it get rid of anything in the stock exhaust that will increase performance?

I am new to this particular bike, and to me it looks like there is something attached to the header pipes that has a valve or something... Probably Honda's version of EXUP or whatever.

Would this pipe eliminate that so that all you have is the headers, new midpipe and can?

And if so, is is easy to remove that valve and all the stuff that goes with it, without messing up the bike?

I am used to the F4i where there is just a straight exhaust system, no electronics or valves...

 

this unit is a can and mid pipe. no need to remove the valve, it stays on. its all yosh from there back.

very simple to install. takes about 30 min.

it definitely will gain some power, but mainly looks and sounds 100 times better than stock. a full system with headers will gain more. and will cost 3 times as much.

 

I may be interested. You got any more pics, especially of how it looks installed?

Why are you selling the pipe? Any interest in selling that PCIII?

 

I sold the bike to a guy who wanted a deal, so to get the price where he had to be i took off all the aftermarket stuff i had put on.

everything is sold except for the pipe.
