exhaust
Very big topic here but also a very big misconception. With FI, the PCM can slightly modify the air/fuel ratio to run with less back pressure.....
ya pimpin', most people don't understand that the pcm can actually "think" and adjust for a lot of a/f ratios.
if you still have the HTEV, you should be good to go moses. if it were me though, i'd leave your can on right now because a)with the cone still on the midpipe, its ugly as sin. b) you'll be dissapointed when you get the exhaust put it back on and hear how quiet it is again! and how big and bulky having a can on there again will feel.
and i love loud exhausts. LOVE THEM. the louder the better. granted its probably not what a family of 5 driving in a caravan wants to hear going down the road, but while cruising on the streets/commuting, if you're under 5k, its not really god awful loud. but when you want to get on it, damn it sounds good!
