Hey guys I just got this error code on my display. I have no idea what this means. I just bought this bike a week ago, and ust noticed the code. Is this serious? Please help!!! Any info is appreciated.

it's not F1 it's FI for fuel injection, could be a few different things, is it stock?

 

Well it could be a few things. If you shut your engine off using the red engine cutoff switch the FI icon would pop up. It also comes on during start up procedures. Does your bike start up and the FI remains on?

 

If you have an aftermarket exhaust, than it might be the O2 sensor. If you want it to go away, you'll need to buy an O2 eliminator kit.

 

From what I understand you only need a o2 eliminator for california versions, My FI light is on due to I removed the original exhaust system and the servo is not only not pluged in its not there at all. I notice no ill effects.
