Hi all,


Today I noticed a small amount of coolant under my bike.

I came out give the bike it,s weekly run.

I ran the bike up to temp( 90-100 C)
The fan cut in. that was fine.

Then I looked down and saw a small pool of coolant under the bike. tip of the underneath of the fairing was a small droplet of liquid,so the amount is not huge,but I think still a reason for concern.

I will be taking it back to mechanic I bought it from on Monday.

In the meantime,can anyone add an opinion as to what this may be?

I turned bike off and liquid did not drip anymore???

 

Where was it coming from? If you don't know, put up a pic so we can identify it for you. Then you will know where to start.

Check the weep hole on the bottom side of the water pump. If you see fluid there then you have a bad water pump.
