Default Clutch Help

Ok I have a question for all you pro's, When I got my bike I could let the clutch lever our and it would start engaging, but now I have to let the clutch lever almost all the way out before it starts to engage. I have tried to adjust it but it does not seem to help. Have any of you had the same problem, and if so what do I need to do to fix it. Thanks Jerry Burris

I thought the 954rr had a hydraulic clutch ... if so there's usually not a lot of adjustment to be had. It's possible that the lines/fluid need bleeding but more than likely the symptoms you describe will mean you'll need new clutch fibers.

Depends on the miles or life it has lived, the cable might be stretched too far past it's service life. If the cable is fine and adjusted at the limits then your discs and clutch springs have seen better days.
