Default CBR 954RR Idleing sound?

Why do our bikes have a slight squealing sound during idle. I didn't notice this sound on the newer 2004 1000RR. Does anyone know what that is?

It's a squeal or a whine sound they all make it when idling... don't know what the sounds from?

My buddy put a timing chain on his car and it makes the same kinda whining sound. Maybe that's it

Are you talking about the whirling sound? I thought it was the intake valves or air moving through the intake/air box.

Yup, sounds just like that. I like the sound I don't hear the newer bikes doing it so loudly though.

Damn your bike has low mileage. Can I see a picture of it?

Edit: I saw a thread called removed the stripes I loved how that bike looked with the stripes no offensive... i'm sure it still runs great.

This is the newest picture. I didn't love the stripes, but it looks to plain now. Truth be told, I'd like to get a full set of red fairings for it. I like my bikes red.

I bought the bike 6 months ago from the original owner with only 3700 miles on it. I think it was in storage a lot as he was a college football player when he got it and went to med school after that.

You should keep it black, and redo the stripes but it's up to you red and black is awesome.
