good explanation - I might have to look into doing this mod in the off season! thanks for the advice.

I read two ways of doing it - taking the air box completely off or dropping the radiator. Any suggestions?

I did it by removing the air box, but you can do it either way. The cross-bar inside the frame is what gets in the way.

It is really simple, it's hard to mess up. The ones I bought the first time (OPP) - I had to drill out the screws on the reeds. I also had the Driven ones on my other 954 - they didn't require drilling out the screw. All I had to do was pull the "caps" off the valve cover and put them on. Much simpler.

Default ebay ad

hahahaha I also responded to this guy, offering him $600 at first. He did not respond for days, then he posted close ups of the rash on the pipe. I then messaged him back saying I would like to cancel my offer of $600. He responded with "yea I wouldnt have taken that anyway haha"

what the ****. I messaged him back saying it was messed up, didnt look like it was even full titanium like he claimed, and that the system is likely at 13 years old. He decided he needed to explain to me what supply and demand was and how this was a phenominal deal, and how just for that he was going to raise the price again.

Is it that sarcasm translates poorly over the internet, or is this guy a f***ing a**hole?

That systems has been made full titanium and whit stainless headers and collector. If i would have to guess i would say the headers and collector look more like stainless. Titanium should look more like this.

He still has it - that should say it all. There is high demand and there is low supply. When nice full systems come up on ebay - they're gone really quick. I missed out on a Micron on the first day of auction - while I was talking to the guy on the phone!

Yep. If this has stainless headers it's same as mine except my muffler is titanium. I bought it summer 2012 and it costed my 340$ plus shipping so i would say this is "little" overpriced

thats exactly what Iwas thinking. doesnt the 954 come stock with titanium headers also? I could get past the damage i suppose, but the stainless and the price, no way. plus it being listed in capital letters FULL TITANIUM someone could stir up some trouble with ebay for false advertising

The oem headers aren't 100% titanium and they weight like hell.
The Akras stainless headers i have are feather weight compared to stock headers. They have very thin walls.
And these that are on ebay allso could be Ti. The headers and collector are so dirty and the pictures are allso not very good.
They just look more like stainless to me. The midpipe is Ti. That you can clearly see from color.
