Really? I thought the Akro's were almost $2k when new.

But if he said "Get real" to you after you offered $500 - I'd definitely be done with him. And as far as the -1/+2, it's a fun mod. It makes it a LOT harder to keep the front down. And as demon said - definitely keep the thing clean, lubed, and adjusted.

Stock chain length is 108 for the 954. I think the shortest length you will find in RK is 120. Just remove links until it fits with your new final drive sprockets. I wanted a Black chain and went with the EK MVXZ series. They even have pink if it floats your boat....I think the RK series you are looking for is 530 GXW.

Don't forget about the chain slider. When they wear out, and they do, you can damage your swingarm when the chain drags on it.

I replace mine with every chain replacement.

That's no joke! I wore some very deep grooves into my F3 swing arm because the chain wore through the guide before I caught it. It doesn't take long.

What's to be confused about? That chain works just fine so long as you get 530 sprockets. 15t front and 45t rear is what you want. Order them in 530 size!

All that is important with chains is to get the right size (530) to go with your sprockets (530). After that, it's the features (like what kind of o-ring) and the strength.

See, you got it! If you do go 520, just make sure you get a chain that's strong enough
