Riding in heavy traffic and sitting at stop lights were where I noticed a big difference. Open roads at speed - there was no difference between no fairings and fairings. But I used to burn my legs at stoplights. Once the fairings were off, it didn't get as hot as fast.
This was when I lived in SW FL - so I assume its a similar situation as it is in TX.

yea hot as ***** here in summer, just stupid to ride in stop n go traffic when its 100+ out! also factor in +10-20 degrees hotter on freeway during heavy traffic so ??????? I'll opt out for my car with a/c in that case.
I decided to powder coat the new rc wheels a matte silver color some time after my cota track day too. Ill post some pics when they are complete.
Thanks again for your input!

motorcycle mag wheel repair
Here are the wheels. I received them about a week ago and the front was warped. The guy I purchased them from was cool enough to pay for them to be repaired.
Wills Rim repair was incredible !
I called around for some pricing and every one wanted $200-$300 regardless of the condition WTF
so he charged $ 50 to straighten them and $14 for return shipping and took only 2 days and when I received them they have been perfectly trued !!
Added bonus was he did not put a scratch on them !!
I'm very impresses with his skill,
ill post another pic after they are powder coated and installed
Should be this Monday
