Default CBR 954 Damage??????

Went down on my 02 954 on the left side. Stator cover damaged and
rear fairing damaged. Just looking I can see that the the piece behind the
stator cover is broken off. Not the stator but the aluminum around that .My
question is , What is that? Is that the engine case? Do I have to replace the entire engine now.
Can someone help me out with some suggestions?

Just curious, how did you lay it down? What speed and what caused the accident?
