Default cam chain tensioner removal

If I take the cam chain tensioner thats on the right side of the motor out, will I have to adjust it when I put it back in the motor? The motor is out of the bike and im taking it in to get a motor mount fixed. The broken mount is located directly below the CCT. Im afriad the gasket on the CCT will melt from the heat from welding and ****. Should I have any worries about removing the CCT? Thanks

You should be good if you dont go with an adjustable ape cct.

As you can see from this picture, it is very close the break. Should I remove it?

Also, there seems to be a leak on the very right throttle body insulator. Should I replace the insulator? Maybe it was just loose

Inspect the boots first. Check for cracks or dry rotting. Maybe it was not set on the engine correctly. I really dont see a reason to pull the CCT. There is still quite a bit of distance between that and where it will be welded. The engine gets pretty warm as well.....

well, its a hydraulic CCT, so once you set it, it'll self adjust. thats if youre pulling it. i wouldn't pull it though, and i really don't think the gasket will melt if you don't pull it.

you can just use some hi-temp silicone gasket maker if you decide to pull it
