I have this on mine with the pcIII and a slip on.....unfortunetly this was done by the previous owner so I cant compare.....but to me the bike still has plenty of low end...but just as it said in there it really comes alive id say around 5-6k
ya it's not a new mod... a friend of mine had a 03 954rr and did this mod got rid of the htev and gained almost rwhp.. well worth it doens't need a PCIII and remap but always a good idea

Do you need a PCIII to do this mod?

"Even comes with a new Fuel map that is suited for where you
live (mean alt, avg temp) if you have a PCIII."
It's on my list of things to do
along with a pcIII_____________________________
Yes it does need a PCIIIr and and comes with a custom map for your bike.I did notice on mine that the throttle was alotsmoother.I also noticed a slight hesitation at around 3k but huge rush around 7K to redline.I had mine dynoed and mine produced 129.8 hp which ain't much but I do like it better with it on than just a regular slip on.If you really want more HP go with a full system.
I have a full exhaust. Almost theame as the HTEC eliminator with a slip on. My bike likes to bog down on the real low end at WOT. Usually if I go WOT before 4k then I feel a difference compared to stock. Stock has more power on the low end but my bike usually doesnt see RPMs below 7k so this isnt a problem.
Also, my full exhaust is bigger than stock so I may feel the bog harder than you guys doing the eliminator.
