Hi,

Has anyone done a 954 rebuild using a Wiseco big bore kit. Im going with the 1mm OS kit but i have concerns about the nikasil coating. Anyone knows a good rebuilder in South Africa, or someone reputable to redo the Nikasil coating.

I am also thinking of ceramic coating the pistons and head. Has anyone tried this?

there's no point to just doing a big bore...you'll hardly make any more power, just a little more torque.

you'll be spending a lot of money for almost no gain. but if you're dead-set on it, then just start asking around at local machine shops.
