I currently have -1 +2 on my 02 954. I am considering going +3 on the rear. My question is how much higher will the rpm's be at 70mph? Right now they're around 6-7 grand at cruising speed. Also will it make much of a difference in 3rd gear clutch ups? I know the gas milage will be worse as will my speedo/odometer will be further off, which is cool. Plan on getting speedo healer/pc3 later on. If you have more than +3, let me know what your experiences are as well. Not looking for wheelie advice, thanks.

 

www.gearingcommander.com lets you see just how much a gearing changes affects your speed and rpm. The difference from -1/+2 (45/15=3.0 final ratio) to -1/+3 (46/15=3.07 final ratio) is very small and most likely a waste of money.
