Default need parts bad...

Hello. ok well nobody got back to me about trying to basicly hot wire my bike ...three wires coming from switch,red,, red with black stripe and a purple wire.... what is this purple wire?????? HELP!!!!!! i can get it to crank but the fuel pump wont come on... i can respect that ... i;m no thief. i have had my dirt bike stolen ... i know what it feels like ... but any way how about some one sell me a ignition switch ... its finally a little bit warm here in cape cod. i want to ride.... please any info would be great...thanks...

Download the repair manual. There is a wiring schematic at the bottom of it....

thanks, i have the manual, it shows that wire going to the pcm...is that circuit ignition voltage??? or is dropped by a resistor? if thats the case , wonder if i fried my pcm trying to hot wire it ...

You won't fry your ecu.......and I do think there is a zener diode, like on the cbr600rr's that need to be inline, reduces voltage to 8.x can't remember exactly. But the diode is a 3.4 volt....you can get them from tripageled.com

thanks ,,,, i found the diode from my broken ignition switch today after work. got too dark going to give it a shot tommorow nght.i tried radio shack. they couldnt help me .. they told me to go to a parts store.. any way thanks for the reply...
