F4i to 954RR
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to hear some feedback about your overall experience with 02-03 Honda CBR 954RR. I have been looking at some of them and am very attracted to the bike looks and performance! Just was curious to how do they ride, whats the riding position like, and performance details! I like the fact that I do not see alot of them either, don't want to ride a bike everyone else has, gixers, Yamaha R's, ZX's, plus I love honda's rock solid reliability and quality.
I am very curious as I think this will most likely be my next bike!
Also, are there any well known problems with this bike and does it require any special maintenance compared to an f4i?
Thx

RE: F4i to 954RR
1st-i have not been on a f4i,with that in mind
i would say-954 is easy to ride, overall ride and comfort depends
on if you are a big or small guy-but not to worry, plenty of
parts on the market for matching the bike to your needs-suspension!!
-as for sitting,i have heard that a f41 and 54 are really close!
before i got my 54-i was on the market for a new model r1
-when sitting on the r1-feels better than all the other new models!,to me,
the 954 feels the same!!-to my suprise the 54,wants a full tuck position as
compared to a 06 r1-the 54 front end is light-she likes wheelies,however,
i am quick with throttle inputs and i am 5'8-145lbs,i would not get any other
bike,bar none(except an nr 750,well maybe a bmw r75 ww2 bike)-there is too
much to say about a 54,not enough forum space--get it[sm=bounceybounce.gif]

RE: F4i to 954RR
I went from a 2002 CBR600 (would be F4i) to a 2004 954. It's a logical move, the 954 feels much like my 600 did in size and for handling but with a lot more power, Can't really fault it for anything although if i was being picky i'd say the 600 instruments were better, but thats being really picky
It's a great bike and if the sun ever shines (i'm in the UK) you can bet i'm out on it.
