Hello everybody! I am Greek and owner of a '02 954 model.After about 20,000 miles i beginned noticing smth.While with first gear in,clutch pulled,decelerating to stop and using the throttle in and out to hear the exhaust,transmission tends to rotate the front sprocket,as if the clutch doesn't disengage normally.A non-specialized mechanic told me that i either change the oil brand (i use motul synth 15w/50) or if problem continues, the clutch/transmission system has to be opened and examined insinuating a possible internal disengagement failure of the clutch discs.Mind you,no abuse ever on my bike...pretty much open road use.So what's wrong with those 'bulletproof Jap' engines?Or is it just those European-san machines?
