I have an 02 954, i dont ride it overly hard, but my question is how often are you guys doin oil changes, and are you adding oil between services because i find that im having to top it up every so often between changes

 

i change mine about every 1500 miles or so. i usually get to that point within 2 months or so. i keep an eye on the oil level, but it never really goes down to the point to where i'd have to add some more. i guess it depends on how long the intervals between changing your oil are and what type of riding you do. i do mostly commute riding during the week, then i'll do some trips on the weekends. i'd pay attention to the color of your oil, and how quickly the color changes.

 

i change mine according to the manual basically. around 3-4k. i never have to add any oil between changes
