954RR Over filling oil?
Hey guys,
Wanted to get some input... I ran across a post saying to over fill the oil by about 1 quart if you pull wheelies, especiually if you do 12 o'clocks for distance... Was not sure if this sounds right to anyone else... Me did not sound good for the motor other then when in a 12 o'clock the oil pick up could go dry... However, if you over fill won't their be to much pressure and blow a seal?... Hope some one can fill me in...
Thanks scott

RE: 954RR Over filling oil?
The 954 doesnt require over filling of the oil. Because the oil pickup is located more towards the rear. The F4i is what really needs an oil pickup, if u plan on pulling wheelies in the lots. They make an oil pickup specifically for the F4i.........Over filling the oil on the streets is NOT a good idea anyways. I wouldnt want to risk blowing the head gasket on a perfectly streetable bike. Plus on the streets, most people cant hold wheelies like stunters do in the lots, LoL......=-)
