2nd gear imo is where you'd see a clutch start to slip first.

2nd gear - you can finally run WOT throttle in higher rpms as opposed to 1st, the primary gear (crank primary) spins the same regardless of which gear you're in. in 2nd though, because there's less load on the gear (from input tranny shaft), so the motor will spin faster - which spins the primary and thus the basket quicker which could cause the springs not be able to hold the plates together or it could cause the plates to slip.

in 3rd,4th,5th, and 6th, sure the load is greater, but the basket isn't going to spin as fast as quick as it would in 2nd.

and i don't think anyone is really putting ALL the power that's possible down in 1st gear and there's almost no load on it.

i'm not an engineer, but if it were the dogs (which DO look good), it'd pop out of gear.

and if it were the forks or the drum (which i think the drum looks great, and i think the shift forks look correct) - it'd pop out of gear. and as well, if you have problems with your shift fork, it's eventually going to pit your drum. as i understand - there is a certain amount of slack that's supposed to be between the gears and forks because of cooling.

so that's my 2 cents , like i said though, i'm by no means an engineer - i'm just picturing in my head what's happening as the motor accelerates
