Nah... I have a 929 tank in great condition. When I bought my bike it came with all fiberglass 954 fairings minus the air ram covers. I just got some covers, but I'm sure that I'm going to run into trouble mounting them with the 929 tank. I'm trying to decide if it would be easier to get a 954 tank or to modify the air covers.

PS.. anyone iterested in a trade my fiberglass fairings for your abs ones.. I'm sick of fiberglass... They're in okay condition.. looks great from a distance, but definatly has imperfections up close.

No thanks on swapping body parts. But on a side note I suggest you taking off the snorkels.

just take off those stupid plastics air ducts...they do nothing but hide things and make it a pain to take the bike apart...also looks better with out them. i run vortex clip ons and had to removed them since the bars hit them anyway.

The 954 tank and 929 tank are different. 954 tank has hinged bolts in the rear that mount to a bracket that is mounted to the sub-frame. So to to it RIGHT, you would have to fabricate a bracket onto your subframe or you would have to buy a 954 subframe and put it on your 929......Easy case....Just buy a damn 929 tank.....=-)

No fun it you dont try to make it work. More satisfaction with yourself if you make it work.
