Default the 954 and MPGs

What kind of mpg ratings are people getting? I fill my tank up and get only 90-100 miles before the light comes on. Doesn't seem right, someone please enlighten me.

i went -1 in the front and i get just about that same mileage. i used to get maybe 110-120 with stock sprocket. i ride it kinda hard though which probably kills my mileage a lil

Thanks for the reply. I beat on mine every once in awhile, but 88 miles and then the light comes on seems low. Ill check the counter sprocket size when I go to install my new parts.

those numbers sound more realistic. Any idea what might be causing my sh*tty gas mileage? I have ran fuel injector cleaner through the bike. Still gotta check the air filter, but Im stumped on this one.

I average bout 135 to the light, I have a PCIIIr, and alternately ride average or let er rip.. I have gotten as high as 150 and as low as 100ish but never below that.. If your air filter is fine, u know the routine, plugs next, fuel line leaks and ur fuel filter(?) good luck..

riding style makes a huge diff. i have seen from high 90's up to 160's depending on where i'm at and what type of riding i'm doing.

All the stats in this thread seem inline with my data sheet as well

Over several trips I found hwy mileage to be between 110 and 140 per tank with approx. 20-30 miles after the light comes on. Commute and Twisty seems to be approx. 100 to 120 before the light.

btw, I found that if you're in the middle of nowhere and the light comes on at around 132 miles and there are no gas stations for miles and miles up in the mountains at 3 am on a Sunday, and you continue on at a smooth 55 mph, you can coast into a gas station ON FUMES at about 161 miles total on the tank
