Youre right bro, you really dont need insurance.................................until you crash. A bike at a decent rate of speed can tear a car up. Also think of medical bills, and repairs. You could total your bike, and be out of the money you just spent on it. Get ome bro, just a recommendation

 

After reading this im going to switch my insurance, Im 21, 1 speeding ticket, through progressive $405 for liability and they quoted me another $2000 for full coverage and i told em to go **** themselves. Going to get quotes this weekend from other places.

 

27, Akron Ohio, no tickets, unmarried, state farm along with my house and car, full coverage with a $250 ded. $353.26 a year, just paid it last night!!

Driver and Passenger door are compliments of My bike and my busted right clavicle trying to crosscheck him out of the way. Notice the rain gutter above the drivers window? Ironhead, you must have almost stopped. 300+ pounds of steel and aluminum plus rider would do a lot more damage than that at 35mph. That looks like maybe a 10mph crash at most. (still enough to toss you good)

I pay $160 a YEAR for both the 954 and the Ducati Monster--both bikes, liability only, $13.33 a month. 30 year-old male, collects a speeding ticket about every other year, so my license isn't clean either. CycleGuard, through Geico.

 

23 male. Im paying $38/month for liability + comprehensive. No tickets (on my record anyway)... State farm. Also have liability on car w/them.

 

I'm 18, male. I'm insured with progressive and pay $900 a year for liability (i live in FL, they hate us). I have NO tickets, though i do have 3 warnings and last night i got pulled over, no written warning that time, just a verbal one because i was teaching my friend how to ride my old 600 hurricane before he takes his test and the bike was uninsured and unregistered (it was 11:30 at night and only around my neighborhood, which is pretty much a retirement complex so nobody was out).

*edit* Oh, and when i had both bikes (the hurricane and the 954) on my plan it was only going to be $1500 a year for full coverage on the 'cane and liability for the 954, but i never used my 'cane till last night so i had taken it off of my policy....
