Ok so here is my problem my headlights do not turn on when i put the key to on nor does my fuel prime. The bike will let me turn it over no problem. blinkers and tail lights all work as they should. Also no back light turns on the cluster.

A buddy owned the bike before me and he had it running one day and it just shut off. sat like this for about 6 months. Just replaced battery 3 days ago with a new one. Would stop/start switch cause this problem ??? Or bad grounds??

Check the kill switch first. Regular use of it can cause broken connection inside the switch. Best to use key for on/off instead of kill switch

 

ok will do is there anyway to just bypass the kill switch so this way it just forced to use the key at all times?

 

Yeah you could link the switch out.

I personally wouldn't leave it like that, you could link it out to prove it one way or the other then get a replacement switch.
