02 954rr flapper mod????
Pin it down underneath the intake snorkels. Leave the control cables connected, or you will get a FI warning light.
To be honest, there is no gain for doing it though. It was meant to reduce airbox noise in low-mid revs. The flapper is fully open when at high revs, so there is no airflow increases from taking it out.
I'd say leave it.
Even Dyno runs prove there is no difference.

if you really want to see what it is like, just unplug the rubber vacuum hose than runs into the side that cause the flap to open and close. this will allow it to stay open at all times. no fi light and it gives you the same effect as removing it. if you don't notice a difference, just plug the hose back in and it's back to stock.
