yet another undertail wiring question
I have been searching and playing with wires all day and I am ready to throw something
my taillight kit has 3 wires with an 1157 LED left and right side
red
Yellow
Black
the bike has
Yellow and a blue ( left and right turn)
green - I believe is the common ground
Brown/white should be the running lights
green/yellow should be the brakes
so I hook the black up to green wires, the turn hooks up to the yellow which works fine.. I have turn signals and they are very bright and noticeable
I hook up the green/yellow to the red for the brakes and the turns get all messed up.if I diconnect the turns I can run tail and brakes just fine, but not all 3 together. do I need to spend the money on a turn signal integrator kit?? can I get away with one of theose universals you can but at an auto parts store , or does anyone have any suggestions..
and did I mention I hate anything that rhymes with schemetrical!!!!

alright well here is what I did and what I got for results
I went out and picked up one of the universal converters, and now I have turns tail and brakes, the turns are pretty fast with the LED's in it but that I dont mind...
is there a way I can reduce the voltage going into the running lights, what I am noticing is that although I have all functions the running lights are just about as bright as the brakes so its not real noticeable when you go from one to the other...
So I was just thinking if I can reduce the voltage on the running lights then that will make the transition to brakes and turns that much more noticeable...
so start kicking ideas my way!!!!

yeah my brake lights aren't much brighter than my running lights. Don't think there's anything that can be done about it. i also had to get a new flasher relay off ebay to slow down the blinkers so i could pass inspection.
