Up front on the lower body paneldirectly behind the tire is 2 philips screws and 2 plastic clips.
How do you get the black plastic clip out ? Pull directly out ? Twist then pull ? Could not get
these out the other day when checking the clutch adjustment on my buds bike. I was afraid
to break em, no spares.

they pop out, you wont hurt anything and can reuse them if you want.i never put mine back one since you don tneed them. i threw all the inner plastics away, stupid honda and pop rivits.

 

Yup, just lift and pull. I put all mine back in...
