Default Body Panel Hardware / Fasteners

Ran a search for "fasteners" and "hardware" got nothing.

I noticed the fastners for the body panels are quite special, with plastic washers and most importantly, the threaded step (for proper torquing with out pinching the plastic). Along with that, the clip nuts too.

Where is a good source for these?

I need one screw and a couple clip fasteners, but I wouldn't mind having some in stock encase I lose them off the bike.

Thanks!

[sm=bounceybounce.gif]As much as I hate to say it, you might have to go to the stealers to get these as I had the same problem. Now for the sore part, I bought the complete set for the bike and the cost was £204.49, ouch and to make matters worse the box that they came in was no bigger than your air filter. Your other option is to scan ebay or visit a breakers yard as most of the fitting are made of stainless. Sorry if this is not what you want to here.

Do a search for "shoulder bolts" I saw a few around when I was searching.

Also I have seen nylon washers that have a shoulder on them so that you can just use a normal bolt.

I ened up just raiding the bolts bin at the wreckers and got what I needed for $5
