Body kits and hardware
Hey guys, i was doing some wheelies the other day, and off one of them the bike came down pretty hard and i ended up loosing some of the screws and bolts on the ride. Its about time for some new fairings and hardware anyways, does anyone have any suggestions on where a good company to order them from is? Thanks!
Heres a pic of one of the final wheelies i was able to get out before i started loosing parts. . .

Hi there. Had my original 929rr stolen from my underground parking lot last summer. After all the insurance stuff was settled I was lucky enoughto find a fellow selling the exact same bike year model (exact) with 30 k less km than my previous bikefor a good price. I bought the horse and it ran fine. Now to my questions(s), At 8,000 km the oil light came on and the bike ran worse than a donkey in molasses. no power etc. I took it to my local shop( great bunch of guys) but unfortunately the owner was away, (he is the brains behind the magic) The other mechanic couldn't figure it out and put me on hold for days etc. When the owner returned a few days later he deduced that it was the exhaust valve which had gone belly up.( stock system) With suchlow mileageon the bike how could that be possible. Also I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them. Could any engine damage result from running the bike for a day or two with the exhaust valve broken as aforementioned? Just looking for some insight here. Incidentally i am new to this site and am looking forward to some good banter. Cheers.[:-]
untimely yes, but unheard of no. Bikes are tempermental and you have cought a temper tantrum. If the shop says the servo motor is bad, have them change it out and if it dosent fixthe problem, they eat the cost.
are these pro bolt fairing kits for the stock fairings and positions?? ive looked on the site and cant really find anything that looks like it will work with stock plastics unless its a generic pic? i saw the fast clips or whatever they call them, is that what i need? thanks for the help
when I put together my f4i, I used a pro-bolt kit for a 636, and it turned out perfect. I painted the bike black, and the 636 kit we had on the shelf was black so I tried it out. I had enough bolts and fasteners left over to do my two piece upper and lower on the 929.
