I have a 2000 929 with pc3, I've had it for a few months drive it daily. Well... I went out to drive it today and the damn thing started to hesitate and jerk when I was going down the highway at 80mph which is right around 5000 rpm. I get off the highway and notice the idle is at round 1100rpm when it is usually at 1750rpm. As i was slowing down from 50mph to 35mph engine braking in 6th the damn thing just cut off! This pisses me off, I restart it and take off and when I get to about 5500 rpm in 1st gearit hesitates and jerks.

Has anyone else experienced any of this before, if so what is it? Do cam position sensors or TPS go bad often on these things?

 

not an expert but i would have to lean towards a mapping problem in the pcIII

 

and your idle should be around 1200 rpm so you had a problem to begin with.

 

get the map from powercommander.com and re-map the PCIII. that should fix it.
