Does anyone know the procedures to install a steering damper like a Scott's on a 929? I'm debating doing this myself and was wondering if it's difficult? Thanks...

 

straight from Scotts Performance page they say that even Forest Gump could do it.
I did mine myself (hyperpro) and the only problem you may have is a socket big enough for the steering nut "i think" its a 30mm

The unit comes with a step by step instruction sheet that would make it easy even for Forest Gump. I have done alot of steering dampers and it is easy. it is a 30 mm socket or a big *** crescent socket. LOL

 

did you do it your self??? i wanna get one and if i do i would prolli do it myself if so let me know how it was

 

I'm no mechanic and I installed a Scott's on my 929. It really is that easy...

 

Very easy, just remember the Loctite that Scotts makes you use. I have one on my 954 and can tell a difference, really like it.
