Default Steering Damper

Hi, I know there has been a lot of posts about dampers, but one question I have is will any rotory damper work but then you just have to get different mounting brackets for it? I know the other type comes in different lengths. But if I got one I want the rotary type. Thanks and sorry if this has been discussed already. I tried searching but didnht find anything.

The mounting brackets are the only differences for GPR and Scotts style dampers. Even if you find the damper cheap the mounting brackets are usually expensive. You are better off to find a complete unit for your bike. Watch the "for sale" section on here and Ebay.
