i need some help from my fellow 929 riders.im trying to figure out if my stator is going out.my headlamps dims when by bike is at low rpms like when im coasting to up to a stop sign,but as soon as i give it some rpm it brightens up...it really goes dim to brite with the high beam..i have never had a bikestator go bad so i dont know what the syptoms are...any tech help will be apreciated...thx...

 

mine goes dim and gets briter as soon as i give it some gas sounds normal to me.

 

Just get an HID conversion kit, thats what i have,uses less energy. i dont know if that will helpsorry

 

if your stator goes your will bike will shut down as soon as the battery is drained even if your riding the whole dash will just fade away and then it shuts off that **** is not fun becuase there arent any symptoms it just goes.

 

No kidding, Maybe its the battery??

oh yea.could a weak cell cause it u think?THE BATTERY takes and holds a charge..
