hey guys i need to replace my stator cover and i was curious if one from a 98 900RR would fit? i've checked the parts #'s and they are different but that doesnt always mean it wont fit.
so if anyone can give me an answer ASAP that would be awesome.... it does good things for you keeping a mod/admin on yourside haha

 

Sorry man, It will not work.

And if you go through Ron Ayers to get the stator cover, you will want to get the first part number listed, the second is for the 954 and I think is a different color (this is according to the parts guy I talked to on the phone when I ordered mine)
