Replacing Master Cylinder?

Look for one off an R6 R1 or and Ducati, they will mount right up to any bike you may just need a new banjo bolt. One thing I didn't realize was they all use their own brake like trigger so if the one you purchase doesn't have one you'll be at the shop ordering one.

So I found a few NISSIN master cylinders, what banjo bold do I need to get. One for a Honda, Yamaha or what? Also the brake swtich, which one do I have to buy to fit on the NISSIN? Or can I wire mine to fit it somehow.

Any Japanese bike will use the same threaded banjo bolt, as for the switch each mastercylinder has its own specific one.

I see. Thanks for all the info. I ordered a master cyl off an 07-08 R1. Should be here soon. Let you all know how it goes.

Suzuki and some kawi models use a different pitch for the thread on the stock banjo bolts
