Default Replacement tires

I was curious what everyone thought was a great replacement tire.....I know it depends on what I'm looking for, mayeb someone who has tried several types could offer insight on treadwear and perf of various tires...

Default RE: Replacement tires

i have the pilot powers, not to sure what i think of them. I put about 2000 miles on my rear tire before i got a flat... and it still looked like it had over half its tread left. other then that i feel like my bike is alot more responcive or not as balanced i guess it all depends on how you look at it.
When i do canyon rides i drop the air pressure from 39 (recommanded 42) down to 32 for a smoother ride.

I put Dunlop Qualifiers on mine - I heard the pros and cons of the stickier Pilots and Conti Attacks, and decided for the kind of riding I do I would do best with something in between. I really like em, but I'm far from a tire expert.

I am in the same boat as sixs929. I am far from a tire expert but I went with the qualifiers and I love them. Great tire wear so far.
