So when replacing them do the screws just unscrew or do they need to be drilled out. Also should loctite be used on the replacement bolts? Thanks.

 

They just bolt in. Unscew the bolt and take it off. Not sure about the loctite bc the bar end bolts into the handle bar weight which isn't bolted in, it just sits inside the handle bar. I recently replaced mine but did not loctite them.
