removing forks?

Default removing forks?

ok i know how to get the forks off but im trying to think of a way to raise my frt end and still be able to wrench a little so if anyone has any idea let me know i need to remove my forks and rebuild them.

if you want to raise the ront end, hang it from the ceiling. well kinda, take straps and attach to bars wherever you prefer and string up to ceiling of garage. abviously find a stud to reinforce a hook or whatever you might have to use. that is what one of my buddies uses and hasnt fell on him yet.

I have a stand that lifts under the head... I used it to rebuild my forks and anytime I need to change a tire.. Be wise and get one

another way I have removed my front wheel is to strap your tail to the ground and jack carefully under the exhaust...

i bought a bike jack from walmart of all places lol $55 it works perfect and came with rachet straps and everything so im all set thanks for the input though

My recommendation is a Pit Bull front stand that lifts at the steering head leaving you free to remove wheel and forks. I wasn't sureif I wanted to spend the coin on it but it's been real handy several times now.
