removing the clutch and stator cover!
Im chroming out my 2001 929 and I need to know when I remove the clutch and Stator cover is their any fluids or spings that will spill out if I remove those covers for chrome covers?
Fluid yes, Drain your oil. Stator side is magnetic so you will have to pull hard. One of the sprockets can fall out on the stator side but its dummy proof. Clutch is a pain in the *** puttin togather first time with the clutch arm. Nothing falls out. Did you buy the covers already or do you plan on doing a exchange? Decided not to part with my chrome wheels but i will part with covers and lower engine bracket as well as polished adjustable kickstand for those lowered/stretched bikes. Also got a chrome keyless gas cap that can go.
