What is the correct procedure to raise the rear of my 929. I bought it from a short guy which he said he lowered it as low as possible. Im 6' tall and would like to raise my bikes rear end. Any info would be appreciated or if you can direct me to some1 or webpage, any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

more than likely the previous owner installed lowering links in the rear, the lowering links should have three settings; stock, 1.5", and 3" , i have never installed them, but there either on the top mount or the bottom mount of the rear shock, if there are none installed then you would need a shock load adjustment wrench, curved at the end with a small tab at the tip

 

Let me know when you find out and tell me if it works.

 

All I had to do was adjust the bolt that is right under my rear shock. I tighted it a little and my rear end came up 3". I went to the honda shop just to make sure it was correct and they said thats all i needed to do.

 

where is this (raise the rear end) magic bolt you speak of?? i dont want to go turning random bolts under the shock..i have the same issue you did..got my bike from a midget and im 6,1
