k so i installed a PCIII like prob 3 weeks ago. The bike rode fine until last week. It just cut off on me on the highway. At first i thought its because i ran out of gas but i pulled over and it started back up. so i fill up at the gas station pull over about 2 minutes into the ride it cuts off again, i do the procedure for flooded engine and it started back up (btw it wouldnt start before i did the procedure). So i think i'm cool, not. The next day it dies again, so i reprogram the pc to the base map to c if thats the prob. I hit the highway once again and boom this time it cuts off and refuses to start for a while. This time however it start spurting gas through the exhaust, i mean it was bad to the point that the section where the can connects to the exhaust pipe was dripping gas and i was getting white smoke through exhaust pipe as well. The bike was idling below 1000 k too.

so i get it towed home and i take off the pcIII. It starts fine and the idle seems k but i still smell a strong odor of gas, no gas dripping and no white smoke. Im too paranoid to ride it beyond a mile since i'm pretty sure the problem is still present. Anyone have an idea what to check for? I was told to check the pressure regulator

 

so i had this same problem when i bought my bike and it ended up being the fuel pressure regulator on the left side down under your gas tank! i swapped mine out and it ran perfect so change that out its like 100 brand new at motorcycle shop or you can get a used one and run it then if it runs fine put your programmer back on.
